Ubud Shopping and Temple Tour

Overview

A private Ubud day of craft, temple and green valleys. Begin in a batik maker village, where cloth is drawn by hand, then visit a silver art village and watch the metal take shape. Step through the carved gates of Batuan Temple. Continue to a painting village, where artists explain their work, and pause for a coffee tasting on the plantation. Walk the sculpted steps of the Tegallalang rice terraces, and close with holy water at the temple before we drive you home. Entrance tickets and shopping are not included in the car price.

Itinerary

   Hotel pickup

   We will be pleased to collect you from your hotel at 08:30.

2. 09:30

   Batik maker village

   A visit to the village where batik is drawn and dyed by hand.

3. 10:30

   Silver art village

   Time to see the silversmiths at work and browse their pieces.

4. 11:00

   Batuan Temple

   A visit to Batuan Temple and its carved stone gates.

5. 13:00

   Painting village

   Artists welcome you to see how a Balinese painting is made.

6. 13:30

   Coffee plantation

   A tasting on the plantation, with the valley around you.

7. 14:30

   Tegallalang rice terrace

   A walk along the green steps of the Tegallalang rice terraces.

8. 15:30

   Holy water temple

   A blessing at the holy water temple before the day closes.

9. 17:00

   Return to the hotel

   We drive you comfortably back to your hotel.
